Natalya is a Ukrainian born Canadian artist, that combines her appreciation for the simple things in life with her keen eye and attention to detail to create amazingly lifelike works. Formally trained at the School of Classic Arts in Ukraine, she has always had a deep passion and appreciation for the art world. Despite being an engineer by profession, art has always been the foundation of Natalya’s dreams. From a young age, she spent her days outdoors, sketching trees, flowers, birds, and various elements of wildlife. She had also been experimenting with different art techniques and styles ranging from sculpture to batik, portrait to landscape until she found the challengingly beautiful world of hyper-realism. Combining these same interests, Natalya began to challenge herself once more by capturing the smallest details of flowest, fruits, and various still-life items and translating them into a canvas with acrylics in the most minute of detail. She has a particular love for capturing the optical perfection of light refraction and has incorporated this into many of her works through the presence of water drops, honey, glass, and anything that shines.

Being an optimist by nature, Natalya believes that artworks made in a good mood and with positive thoughts in mind radiate happiness and harmony and translate it to their spectators.
