Truth make us uncomfortable because it makes us realized that the world is not there for us. Our existence is not pretty, in fact it's pretty ugly. Truth make us  uncomfortable   because it  makes us realized that the world is not there for us. Our  existence is not pretty, in fact it's pretty ugly. Only by realizing this  fact that  we could take the first step toward real beauty in art." -Sapientia N. Lee

Growing up, Sapientia N. Lee. often tried to befriend other people, trying hardest to be nice and charismatic and  hoping to assimilate into   a "group".  However,  unlike a fairytale,     where  friendship would happen as long as you try,  in  reality it  was not that simple. Most of the time, "friends"  were just passersby,  someone  to meet once in the infinite crossroads of  life  and  never to be encountered again. In fact, as Sapientia N. Lee. eventually realized and accepted without question; other humans simply had too many flaws to like.

Mostly  alone,  Sapientia N. Lee. withdrew  from  almost all  group interaction since graduating.   He  didn't  like  other people, so why waste his time? If joining a group means putting up  a fake  mask in order to fit in like a game  of  tetus,  then why bother? In  fact,  later being diagnosed with autism gave him a lot of comfort.

Sapientia N. Lee. has been a very creative person since childhood. Having autism was a surprising aid since it helped him think by only focusing in his own mind. His ultimate desire was to bring as much of his imagination to life as possible, therefore his interest in painting and illustration was inevitable. Most of his skills are self taught through trial and error. And by trial and error, he meant it; if an image didn't satisfy him he would take it back to the drawing board. Thank goodness for modern drawing software.

The theme that most Sapientia N. Lee.'s works carried were "Truth". The "Truth" that his strange mind saw, not obstructed by any cognitive effects that our brain decided to put in effect in order to make ourselves feel comfortable. Some might find reality ugly when viewed at face value, but to Sapientia N. Lee, he simply sees new topics to explore in his arts.
