I painted this beautiful painting when I was doing my plein-airs next to Granville Island in Vancouver. The painting features an autumn scenery lightened by the autumn sun in Stanley Park. Sunny blocks lead the viewer to the background where one can find a windy light-blue path which is characteristic of many of my paintings. It is a life path of looking for and finding love in our lives. “Stanley Park” is multilayer and pastous with a rich and thick texture.
