Lucien Delarue (1925–2011) was a French painter and watercolorist born in Paris. Known for his atmospheric depictions of Paris and the French landscape, Delarue developed a distinctive style characterized by delicate color, expressive brushwork, and a romantic sensitivity to architecture and place.
Delarue began exhibiting early in his career and received numerous awards in France. He was awarded First Prize and the Vermeil Medal at the Salon Violette, followed by a Gold Medal at the Salon of Vincennes. He also received a Bronze Medal from Arts-Sciences-Lettres in Paris and First Prize at the Salon of Deauville for his watercolors.

Delarue's paintings were acquired by the municipalities of Paris and Clichy. Today, he is remembered for his evocative Parisian scenes and French landscapes, where architectural detail, soft light, and atmospheric color capture the timeless character and romance of France.
