Natan Berler (1912-1986)

Natan Berler (1912-1986) was born in Switzerland in 1912. When Natan was four years old, he moved to Poland, where Natan Berler (1912-1986) received his first instruction in drawing. In 1925 he moved to Argentina. There he completed his studies at the “Academy of Belles Artes” and at the “National Academy of Decorative Arts of the Wation”. All under the tutelage of professors Raul Mazza, Alberto Rossi, Antonio Alice and Pio Sanlivadino. RABBI MELACHIM.
Natan Berler (1912-1986) was born in Switzerland in 1912. When Natan was four years old, he moved to Poland, where Natan Berler (1912-1986) received his first instruction in drawing.

In 1925 he moved to Argentina. There he completed his studies at the “Academy of Belles Artes” and at the “National Academy of Decorative Arts of the Wation”. All under the tutelage of professors Raul Mazza, Alberto Rossi, Antonio Alice and Pio Sanlivadino.

He worked with Rodolfo Franco, director of scenography at the renowned “Colour Theater”. His continual pursuit of the Arts took him to Holland and Italy.

Later in 1972 he arrived in Israel where at the kibutz Lehavot Habashan he did much of his printing and drawing. Since 1982 he had been living at kibutz Shoval where he continued his artistic trajectory. His work has been exhibited in Lehavot Habashan; Haramati Gallery in Tel Aviv, El monsaje Gallery in Buenos Aires, The Artists Gallery in Tel Aviv, Instituto Aentifico Judio in Buenos Aires, kibutz Shoval, kibutz Bet Kama and kibutz Mishmar ha Weyev.

There are also many of his works in private collections in Argentina, The United States, Canada, Belgium, South Africa, Australia and Israel.

Natan Berler passed away in 1986 at the age of 74.
