Anna Sheversky is a third-generation artist and has inherited some of the family's artistic genes. She currently lives and works in beautiful Kelowna, British Columbia. Anna Sheversky graduated from Toronto's prestige Ontario College of Art and Design in 2011 with a Bachelor of Design. She then proceeded to complete an international design program at Penninghen School of Art Direction and Interior Architecture in Paris, France. From there, her work evolved into traditional and mixed media painting methods. Her recent work has been focused on abstract paintings that recall aspects of minimalism.

As an artist who works primarily in the realm of abstract art, Anna's goal is to create works that explore the interplay between color, form, and texture, and to invite viewers to experience a sense of wonder and curiosity about the world around them.

For Anna, abstraction is not about creating a representation of reality, but rather about distilling the essence of a feeling or idea into a visual language. She is interested in the process of creation itself, and the way in which each stroke of the brush or mark on the canvas can transform the work in unexpected ways.

Anna's work is informed by a range of influences, from the bold geometric forms of the Bauhaus movement to the expressive energy of abstract expressionism. Anna believes that art has the power to evoke emotions, provoke thought, and challenge preconceptions, and she strives to create works that are both visually striking and intellectually engaging.

Ultimately, Anna's hope is that her work inspires viewers to look at the world with fresh eyes, to see beauty and possibility in unexpected places, and to embrace the limitless potential of the human imagination.
