Holly Bromley is a Canadian artist, born and raised in Alberta. She currently resides in the beautiful city of Vancouver.

In 2006, Holly Bromley had a severe electrical shock that was caused by pushing a crosswalk button. This event forever altered her world. Holly taught herself to paint as a way to cope with the struggles that came with permanent muscle and nerve damage, as well as her mental health. Holly can not imagine a life without art, and she believes that hidden blessings can be found everywhere.

Holly started her art journey by creating custom paintings using acrylic paint on canvas. Her art evolved over the years as she developed her unique style and technique. Layer by layer she manipulates heated resin with intricate movements to create beautiful textures that flow like liquid glass. Each layer takes twenty-four hours to cure. Intertwined within the layers are specially selected natural materials such as crystals, pearl fibres, minerals, 24-karat gold, genuine silver, metals, moss, flowers, shells, glass, sand and ink.

Holly enjoys making her own natural pigments by using a technique that involves drying and crushing berries, flowers, minerals, and various plants.
The composition of natural elements used in her art creates a unique three-dimensional style that adds life to her pieces.

Holly has the ability to combine realism and resin into a singular style. She is drawn in by the meaning behind each of the paintings that she chooses to create. Holly has been quoted saying, “I am 100% passion driven, if I can’t feel it, I can’t paint it."
