Frida Kahlo & Diego Rivera

Surrealist painters Frida Kahlo & Diego Rivera, never seen before, breathe new life into the Art walk along South Granville Street. Currently, on display and for sale at Vancouver Fine Art Gallery, the collection features a self-portrait with a monkey, a personal corset, pages from her sketchbook, and painter’s palette. Kahlo became a recognized figure in Art history and regarded as an icon for Chicanos, feminists, the LGBTQ movement, and fashion.
