Slava TCH studied Fine Arts at Kharkov State University and later earned a Master of Fine Arts from the renowned Kharkov Artistic-Industrial Institute in Ukraine. His academic journey laid the groundwork for a career defined by innovation, discipline, and emotional resonance. Some of his works remain in the collection of the institute where he trained.
Today, Slava TCH continues his family’s artistic legacy through his mastery of encaustic painting, a complex and labor-intensive technique involving the sculpting of molten wax and pigments. His luminous, three-dimensional compositions merge neo-primitivism and abstract symbolism, conveying an idealized and spiritual vision of the world.
Drawing inspiration from his extensive travels across Canada, the United States, and Europe, Slava TCH paints landscapes that feel both mythical and familiar. His works transport viewers across imagined realms, echoing themes of memory, place, and inner reflection.

Artist Statement
“I am captivated by the vibrant, ever-changing forms of nature, and I seek to express this beauty in my paintings. I do not speak through form or volume, but through vivid color and emotional intensity. My artworks are lyrical and expressive, filled with rich, blooming hues. Through them, I aim to add new colors to nature—infusing it with my own spiritual and emotional experiences. The deep, radiant lines and colors reflect both the majesty and the tragedy of my world. This is my essence—my journey, my voice.”
