Infinity portrays the iconic Vancouver Lions Gate Bridge as a luminous pathway suspended between city and nature. The bridge stretches forward in powerful perspective, guiding the eye toward radiant light that emerges through mist and atmosphere. Familiar yet dreamlike, the structure becomes more than a landmark — it transforms into a symbol of passage and connection.
Farahnaz Samari uses light as both structure and emotion. The illuminated roadway flows across the span, dissolving into distance, while the surrounding landscape softens into layered atmosphere. The bridge stands as a quiet threshold — linking movement with stillness, the known with the unknown.
Rooted in the presence of Vancouver’s Lions Gate Bridge, the work expresses transition, direction, and continuity — a visual meditation on crossing, becoming, and moving forward.
